General Information and Provisions for SimulPlast s.r.o.

SimulPlast s.r.o., as the operator of the SimulPlast website (www.simulplast.com), is responsible for the processing of your personal data as users of our services, as referred to in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We take the protection of your privacy and your personal data seriously. Therefore, your personal data is only processed in accordance with the contents of this Privacy Policy and the “GDPR” (governed by the Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, concerning the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

  1. Personal Data Processing when Using the Contact Form
    If you contact us regarding our products and/or services, your contact information provided through the contact form will be processed. This includes the following data: first name, last name, email, and phone number. 
    Why?
    You will be contacted regarding our product and service offerings based on the personal data you submit.
    What is the legal basis?
    This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – the performance of a contract or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
    If this personal data is not provided, we will not be able to enter into a contract for the purpose of providing goods delivery or services.  
    For how long will your personal data be processed?
    Unless we establish further cooperation, your personal data will be processed for a maximum of one month since the last communication.
  1. Personal Data Processing in Case of Purchase
    In case of purchase, only the personal data necessary to secure the conclusion of a contract for the provision of our goods and/or services will be processed. This includes billing information: first name, last name, address, phone number, and email. 
    Why?
    It is necessary to process the personal data to fulfill our obligations arising from the contract – delivery of goods or provision of services. Using your contact details enables us to communicate the status of your order, potential complaints, or any queries you may raise.
    Further personal data processing will be performed to meet our obligations arising from generally applicable legal regulations (predominantly for accounting and tax purposes, for handling complaints and other matters).

If we are not provided with your personal data, entering into a contract for the purpose of the delivery of our goods and/or the provision of our services will not be possible.

For how long will your personal data be processed?
For the duration of the delivery of goods or provision of services, and then for the following five years since the last provision of such services or goods delivery.

  1. Newsletter (Commercial Communication)
    If you have purchased goods or services from us and have not expressly opted out of receiving marketing communications, your email address will be automatically used for our own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe.

What is the legal basis?
Data processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – our legitimate interests, which include marketing communication targeted at our customers.

For how long will your personal data be processed?
For the following five years since the last purchase. If you no longer wish to receive our marketing communications, you can unsubscribe anytime via email, or contact us at the following email: simulplast@simulplast.sk

  1. Who might access your data?
    Your personal data will remain with us. Please note that some companies or other individuals may have access to your personal data as they are involved in the key operating activities of our company. These include:
    • Companies involved in the shipping (e.g. Slovenská pošta, a.s.)
    • Companies involved in the processing of payments (e.g. Československá obchodná banka, a.s.)

III. Please note that 

SimulPlast s.r.o. does not have a designated person in charge of personal data protection. Additionally, the company does not participate in decision-making processes that are based on automated processing or profiling.
